"Chin Up"-You are Beautiful

Dear Readers,
Do you really like your skin tone? Are you OK with your height? Do you complain about your hair?
At times we don't like our appearance, features and body because we compare ourselves with others.
Self has two parts:

  • Actual self - Original / True self
  • Perceived self - How we see ourselves.

We all are beautiful in our own ways but we never accept ourselves. It's completely pointless to expect others to love and accept us without accepting ourselves..if you can't accept you then how can others do it?

These are the artist we admire the most. These are the photographs taken before their plastic surgery. They changed their appearance for the sake of other's approval and attention. They are not brave enough to show their true self to the society because they didn't accept their own self. Actually we are admiring their fake charm and artificial beauty.

Michael Jackson was a well known victim of plastic surgery. He was a king of pop who was extraordinarily talented. He owned millions of Fans. He had wealth, money, fame, fortune, family, love and admiration from almost from all over the world. But due to lack of self acceptance and self-love,  pathetically he lost himself.
On the other side of a coin comes Sabourey Sidibe, an American actress, stunning performer, great singer and a inspirational speaker. She created a great impact in my life. She is the most talked celebrity now. Her parents called her FATSO! because she looks fat. She has battled her weight all her life. But one day she accepted her appearance and started to live a purposeful life. The way she perceived herself was amazingly changed.

We can enhance our appearance not to impress others but to express ourselves in a better way.
Are you worried about the hair type? Silky or curling? There are bald heads due to cancer. Are you complaining about your skin tone? Think about people with Leucoderma and other skin diseases. Are you disturbed with your height? Then tell me what to do with dwarfism?

According to my belief we are specially made by God's own image. In that way we are so special and unique. I have a beautiful sister but we never looked same. It wasn't a problem until people commented about our features. I am dark skinned, she is fair. I am short, she is taller than me.I got curly hair, she has silky hair. Initially it was strange for me to get all those opinions. Later on I stopped comparing my skin tone with others. Who bothers if I am dark or fair? A bright Change happened when I truthfully looked in the mirror and accepted my deep chocolate complexion. So embrace to be dusky..
❤ Being short is not bad, feeling little is bad.
❤ Being dusky is not bad, feeling dark is bad.

❤ Its nothing wrong to be fat, feeling lost is to be considered.

❤ Being hair less or beard less is better than being heart less.

❤ Being physically challenged doesn't matter but feeling emotionally weak matters.
It's all about how we perceive and feel about ourselves. Instead of worrying about your features start thanking God for your body parts, for each and every part of your body, Give thanks to Him.Feel grateful for the proper functioning of your organs.

Here is a practical exercise to accept our Beautiful self.
Mirror talk: Its a simple exercise. You just need a mirror to talk with your reflection. Just tell those affirmations given in the picture for two weeks. You will surely feel the difference.

If you start to accept your self you will gradually develop self-love which will boost up your self-confidence. So that you can have a self-content and a meaningful life.
Beauty and charm will fade as time goes but the inner beauty grows as you mature
So..

✋Stop complaining start complementing..👍
